The five ladies of recorder quintet Seldom Sene will take you to the Spanish palaces and cathedrals of the sixteenth century. They play beautiful arrangements of vocal music, ranging from the melancholic songs of Juan Vásquez to the virtuoso fireworks in the music of Antonio de Cabezón. In 2014 Seldom Sene won first prize at the International Van Wassenaer Competition. "This is a perfect ensemble that can only grow", wrote Merlijn Kerkhof in NRC Handelsblad
