Karin Lechner and Natasha Binder
Pianist Karin Lechner not only has in common with Mozart that they were both pianistic prodigies, Lechner also has a special affinity with his music. This music has been on her lectern for decades. At the age of thirteen she once made her Dutch debut with the Concertgebouw Orchestra at the Holland Festival. Since then, her career has taken Lechner to all major international stages and she has worked with master pianist Martha Argerich, cellist Janós Starker and soprano Barbara Hendricks, among others. In the Edesche Concert Hall she gives free rein to her playing pleasure in Haydn's Piano Concerto in D. Lechner's daughter Natasha Binder is still at the beginning of her promising career at the age of fifteen. She is soloing in Mozart's Piano Concerto no. 12, KV 414
