Did you know that Handel also composed passions? Like Bach, Handel made several passions, including the famous "Brockes-Passion. From the very first notes, you are drawn into the moving Passion story and experience Handel from his most passionate and emotional side. A moving highlight is undoubtedly the duet between Jesus and his mother Mary. The "Brockes-Passion" also impressed Bach, who even performed the piece in Leipzig. This masterpiece left its mark on Bach's own St. John Passion.
