As an opera composer, Reinhard Keiser knew exactly how to touch his audience. And his music still does. With his Brockes-Passion, Keiser was a real trendsetter, because greats like Telemann and Handel followed his example. Even Bach performed Keiser's passion piece in Leipzig. The secret? The music sparkles and sparks, there are strong emotions, great contrasts and lively dialogues. In short, a performance that will not leave you cold. With Keiser's Brockes-Passion, the Apollo Ensemble continues the Passion tradition in the Edesche Concertzaal, allowing you to experience the Passion in an intense way.
