On Friday night, August 27, the Nederlands Studenten Kamerorkest (Nesko) will give the first concert of its project 'Nesko Writes on'. The Nesko is a project orchestra, composed annually of some forty enthusiastic students who, in addition to their studies, are engaged in music. During its first concert in Ede, the orchestra will perform works by Joachim, Tchaikovsky and Remy van Kesteren. Internationally renowned violinist Carla Leurs will solo in Tchaikovsky's violin concerto. The whole ensemble is conducted by the young conductor Stijn Berkouwer.
